Selon la loi, quand une compagnie à plus de 20 employés, la compagnie devrait avoir un comité de la santé et sécurité constituant d'au moins 1 travailleur et 1 contre-maître. The Occupational Health and Safety Act requires the employer to establish a Joint Health and Safety Committee(JHSC) at a workplace with 20 or more workers.
